Star quality levels
Texas Rising Star has different levels of quality: Two-Star, Three-Star, and Four-Star. The higher the star rating, the higher the quality is. Every child care provider that serves child care services (CCS) children must participate in the Texas Rising Star program. When families search for child care providers in the availability portal, star quality levels are listed next to each provider that serve CCS children.
