We are delighted to announce the launch of the newly redesigned EarlyChildhoodTexas.Gov website—a central location for families seeking early childhood resources in Texas. The site, which was developed collaboratively by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), Texas Education Agency (TEA), Texas Health and Human Services Commission, and the Texas Department of State Health Services, provides information about Texas programs for families with young children.
One of the most exciting features of the new website is a new Early Childhood Eligibility Screener. This tool helps Texas families figure out which early childhood programs they might be eligible for. In this first release, parents can use the screener to find out if their children might be eligible for TWC’s Child Care Services scholarships, Head Start or Early Head Start, and public pre-kindergarten.
