The Quad Agency Child Care Commission, led by TWC Chairman Joe Esparza, met on March 24, 2026. During this meeting, the Quad Agency Commission announced it will review pre-k partnership data collection processes. A briefing paper outlining details of the review were provided to members of the Quad Agency Commission.
Also provided was a Responses to Public Comments document that summarizes stakeholder feedback received November 2025 through February 2026. The document also included participating agencies’ responses to the feedback.
The Quad Agency Commission continues to welcome ideas about how participating agencies (TWC, Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, and Texas Education Agency) can better collaborate to positively impact the cost, quality, and accessibility of child care in Texas.
